The Cambridge-Somerville Independent is supported by the Cambridge-Somerville Independent Project of the IRS 501(c)(3) tax-deductible nonprofit Somerville Media Fund Inc. All donations to Somerville Media Fund Inc. via the Cambridge-Somerville Independent Project are given dollar for dollar (minus Stripe processing fees) as general support grants to the Cambridge-Somerville Independent in keeping with the Somerville Media Fund, Inc.’s primary mission “to support the production of useful media and artistic works relating to Somerville, Massachusetts and environs in the public interest.”
