CSO plan community office hours

Combined Sewer Overflow Control Plan Community Office Hours, noon to 2 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday. Comment is being taken on the draft control plan for combined sewer overflows, the term for releasing waste into public waterways when sewer and water systems get overwhelmed. The next session of office hours for resident questions about the plan is virtual, from noon to 2 p.m., and later in-person from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Somerville Public Library, 79 Highland Ave., Central Hill.

Design of school on Winter Hill

School Committee, 7 to 9:30 p.m. Monday. Members consider construction of a 925-student complex at 115 Sycamore St., Winter Hill, to meet the needs of the community from the closed Winter Hill Community Innovation School – and, probably, the aging Benjamin G. Brown School too. This meeting includes a summary of design options and a look at the preferred version of that campus in anticipation of funding from the Massachusetts School Building Authority. Armory infrastructure needs

Armory Advisory Board, 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The group elects officers and reviews capital plans and infrastructure needs at the Armory, the Somerville-owned community arts building. The Somerville Community Preservation Committee expects to hear a request for an Armory needs assessment this month. Watchable by Zoom videoconferencing.

Work at Cobble Hill Apartments

Urban Design Commission, 6 p.m. Tuesday. Work at the Cobble Hill Apartments at 84 Washington St., gets design review ahead of a development process for homes, retail and other uses at the neighboring parcel: 90 Washington St., 4 acres that was once the Cobble Hill mall. Preservation of creative space

Cultural Trust, 6 p.m. Wednesday. A discussion examining tools and models available for preserving creative space, including strategies that could be adapted in Somerville, from panelists representing the Somerville Arts & Culture, MassCreative, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council and Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston. At the Somerville Museum, 1 Westwood Road, in the Spring Hill neighborhood.
