The reelection campaign of state senator Will Brownsberger was endorsed Thursday by governor Maura Healey as “crucial” to state initiatives.

The DSA fell a few votes short of endorsing Erika Uyterhoeven, who is running without its field team, and the issue was largely not about policy.

Ewen-Campen said his goals as a state representative will be familiar from his work as a councilor, including housing, safe streets and immigrant protections.
